Description

This trail is part of the Florida Trailwalker Program. It is a loop trail near the Withlacoochee River. It is forested and pretty flat with lots of trees, saw palmettos, and flowers.

Directions

From Lake Lindsay Rd. in Nobleton, go 1 mile E to Hog Island Recreation Area sign. Turn S on to CR 635 and go 2 miles. Kiosk and parking area is on the right before the campground and day use area. From I75 take exit 62, turn W (right) on to CR 476-B . When road ends at "T", turn W (left), go 4 miles on CR 476 to Hog Island Recreation Area sign. Turn S (left) on CR 635 and go 2 miles to entrance of Hog Island Recreation Area. Kiosk and parking area is on the right before the campground and day use area. Trail begins at kiosk located to the right of the boat/canoe launch ramp.
